Nobody Astral Travels - News & Updates
This first post will list all project updates and news for the game. Larger game news will still take place on the blog. However, So that nothing is missed and so that minor progress can be relayed without a full post I will reference here in this first post any important news or updates as well as post changelogs when the time comes.
Eventually development will include other individuals for testing purposes but for now this post shall help relay relevant information to those interested.

Version 0.1 Update (December 2022)
Added hotkey use to the upper menu elements, f1, f2, esc all work.
Altered game exe icon.
Added save and load variables for a couple of mechanics.
More function to UI components.
Version 0.2 Update (March 2023)
Skill purchases now have a check system so that you may only learn or upgrade if you have the sparks to do so.
Fixed a ui bug
Version 0.3 Update (June 2023)
Skill panel bug fix, If no selection of skill, then mouse press changes disabled string text, it shouldnt and now doesn't.
Skill panel bug fix, Afflictions gained were showing altered strings on some occasions and now do not.
Added functional music player with toggle to top ui bar with basic controls and mechanics for play pause, selection of categories and lists for choosing tracks. In preparation for game audio.
Tweaked Atmospheric Fog Overlay Size.
Changed how the App movement bar works so that the mouse stays over the bar when you click and move it.
Fixed: Top ui bar when going fullscreen has unintended incorrect bg.

Repositioned music player and its associated elements and sizes to accomodate the f3 hotkey panel button.
Updated twitter logo to the new X rebranding.

Tweaked the silhouette placeholder character image to look better.

Version 0.5 Update (May 2024)
# Bugs
Fixed: When music player is open, player stats menu can toggle selections through the player selections clicking.
Fixed: Music player scrollbar items do not dissapear when music player is closed or reappear when opened.
Fixed: Top bar UI has a few offset spaces, opacity unmatched on disabled buttons and the music player open button has no bg ui.
Fixed: music player not showing all tracks in scroll.
Fixed: music player having extra spaces if there are more tracks than held in 1 list view after scrollbar appears.
Fixed: hotkeys need to open and close panel on same hotkey not just open.
Fixed: music player list clicks affect music volume bar if player list is open on esc menu and player clicks touch components.
Fixed: music player bottom button string missing when clicked through modes.
Fixed: During Initial Newgame First Battle, The disabled stars diary and hotkey buttons are not there.
# Added Mechanics
On new night, the event popup now shows again to contain future information from the days activities. Also night # title now updates to current nights value.
New UI Piece On the Life tab after the toggle on player character image, Contains strings for areas of life, and a pip image for each that indicates life quality up to level of 10, as you fix astral, it can then indicate your real life improvements there. And will indicate the direction its moving with a prospects indicator. Includes transportion type and the saving loading of it, extra variables on the stats tab of the same. Mechanics ready awaiting future gameplay content to use it.

89 sounds on buttons pressed added.
Sounds on presses are now done per layer and object instead of by group to stop layering issues with sounds passing between frames.
Added 12 more tracks to the music player.
Added skip left and skip right to music player.
Added second title string to new night popup and repositioned a few items for spacing and visual look.
Improved mouse cursor design.
Improved visual of hotkey UI bg.
Game Intro Strings Repositioned for better visuals.
New game creation box, return button design improved.
Move App Button Added To Top Bar On New Game And Introduction.
On hotkey press show pressed animation on buttons.
Fixed: A bug with reverting to previous panel from these panels and it being incorrect on occasion.
Escape menu, f1, f2, f3 icons now have disabled versions to limit issues when the other panels are open.
Every Panels icon not open is now shown to be visually and mechanically limited until you close the one currently open one.
Every Panel opened via top bar is now limited so they only show in specific game areas as enabled and in others as disabled.
Added a tooltip to identify the icon of yourself if hovered over on living life screen.
Repositioned UI location for Location & Contacts Title strings on selections.
Changed some string colors from white to off white to better fit design.
New Game now has new UI strings and elements, and indicates more info to player from said choices before a new game is confirmed.
Version 0.6 Update (June 2024)

Fixed: Assets moving across screen that were not in view on living life screen
# Other
Created a series of icons for living life locations, and a series of icons for living life people for the day playout. Locations count is 9 and basic types introduced to map for now from apartment to travel, cinema, work etc. (Mouseover gives more deatails and tooltips;)
Improved icon that represents player on living life screen.

Added button press sounds for topbar buttons.
Added missing button press sounds on dream diary list.
Added sound effects for presses on list items across the game.
Altered way sound samples are played to adhere to usage terms.
